The existing layout featured outdated elements like a drop ceiling and an inefficient island-style bar, which limited customer engagement and did not utilize the available space effectively.

Custom Bar Design
The bar at Play It Back Sports Bar is designed as the vibrant core of the venue, fostering dynamic interactions. We replaced the outdated island bar with a sleek, linear setup against a feature wall decorated with beer keg tops to echo the bar’s beer focus. This wall features a custom steel structure holding multiple TVs for optimal sports viewing. The bar is accented with rustic reclaimed wood, contrasting with modern steel and color-changing lights that adjust the ambiance for different times or events. This area is both a functional hub and a statement piece, blending aesthetics and utility for guests to enjoy drinks and sports.
Solutions
Structure: Replaced the central island bar with a more strategically positioned linear bar along a feature wall.
Visual Appeal: The bar showcased a wall adorned with beer keg tops and a custom steel structure for mounting an array of TVs, enhancing the sports viewing experience.
Lighting: Installed color-changing lighting to highlight the bar area and set the ambiance.
Reception Area:Designed with stadium-style seating and sports memorabilia to immediately immerse guests in the sports theme upon entering.
Specialized Areas
Semi-Private Dining: Created a basketball-themed area with custom free-throw line lighting fixtures and track lighting for intimate gatherings.
Baseball Design Area: Featured backlit wooden wall panels with mounted TVs and digitally printed wallpaper depicting the local baseball stadium.
American Football Area: Utilized turf wall coverings with yard markers up to 70 yards and expanded metal steel framed panels, complemented by smaller backlit TVs due to lower ceiling height.

The redesign transformed Play It Back Sports Bar into a destination for sports enthusiasts, offering varied thematic areas that cater to different preferences and events.
